These are some conventions I am definitely going to use as suggested by the great public of Great Britain:
-Slow(ish) monotone music
-Artistic
-Introduction to main character(s) or narrative
-Titles
-Simplicity
- Main protagonist (usually male) with emotional instability
- Female involvement of some kind (romance)
- A protagonist/ “evil” corporation
- Someone to aspire to, a redeemer
- Someone that adds a comic twist on the story, to make the film not seem TOO dull and sadistic
- New or interesting shot types
- Good music
- Able to relate to the characters beliefs and struggles
Good for outlining response but this would be more effective if we understood what the audience surveyed were responding to...
